Stalking of Montreal’s setlist.fm stats cuz I’m bored
I was there when they played “New Year’s Day” that one time, and it was beautiful. Seriously, look at the setlist. It was amazing.
They’ve played “No Conclusion” thrice in the past week? Does this mean they’re playing it on this tour? It was so fucking good when they played it at the Halloween show (also a fucking awesome setlist!), but I was super drunk/high by that point, so I’d like to see it again.
I become extra obsessed with Everclear every summer. I don’t know what it is, but I can listen to So Much for the Afterglow repeatedly and never get tired of it. Honestly, I only change CD’s in the car because I know my friends get tired of hearing it every time they ride with me.
If last.fm could scrobble the amount of times I have played that CD, I would probably be ashamed of the # of plays Everclear has in my library. It would be at least doubled.
New Found Glory
I just need to make a post about how much I love them. I don’t give them enough credit. They have been there for me for so long, since I bought “Sticks and Stones” in sixth grade. My first concert, back in 2003. I still have my tshirt. It’s gross and full of holes but I love it. Even though they put out a couple of shitty albums, I don’t even care, they have been my favorite band for like ten years now (a fucking decade, what the hell). The 10 year anniversary tour was so perfect. I’m so excited for the new album and to see them live again for the 8th time. I wish I had my autographed hoodie here so I could put it on and bask in my love and adoration for them right now.
I just gotta say…the Matt and Kim show in Atlanta last night was fucking amazing. Absolutely one of the best shows I have ever seen in my whole life. I didn’t really want to get my hopes up after being disappointed by so many shows lately but it was just fucking awesome. They really aren’t even one of my favorite bands or anything, but they had such awesome energy and everyone was so into it. It was just so neat, especially when they played the instrumental songs and some covers. Just awesome. I cannot wait to see them again.
Also, I had never listened to the Thermals before last night but it is safe to say that I am now in love with them. Awesome pop punk music, and they have a beautiful lady bassist with hairy pits. God. So perfect.
i really just can’t get over the civic tour lineup.
my chemical romance, blink 182, matt & kim
i know i’m an asshole about music most of the time and that all of these bands are super ~mainstream~ or whatever but it is seriously going to be a fucking amazing show.
fuck. idk how they always get such good bands for the civic tour. it was my first concert ever back in 2003: mxpx, hot rod circuit, good charlotte and new found glory. and it was amazing.
oh my god, i love the ergs! so much.
In addition to being a wonderful musician and totally adorable, Conrad Keely from …And You Will Know Us By The Trail of Dead is a wonderful artist as well.
